Furious 7 (tbc) **BIG FILM**
Toretto and his family come under threat from Shaw as he seeks retribution.
Dir: James Wan
Starring: Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michell Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster
Action | Crime | Thriller - runtime: (tbc)
What I say: I walked away from the franchise after 5. I haven't seen 6 and from the stories I hear of it, I never will. 7 will be huge, sadly due to the tragic loss of Paul Walker.
The Water Diviner (tbc)
An Australian man travels to Turkey in search of his three sons who fought at the Battle of Gallipoli.
Dir: Russell Crowe
Starring: Russell Crowe, Jai Cortney, Olga Kurylenko
Action | Crime | Thriller - runtime: 1h 51m/ 111mins
What I say: I saw the trailer last night and it started slowly but by the end, it had me. I am sure the film itself will be slow but if the characters are tremendous, a slow film can be as good as any thriller.
The Little Death (tbc)
A comedy about sex, love and relationships told through a series of couples.
Dir: Josh Lawson
Starring: Damon Herriman, Bojana Novakovic, Josh Lawson
Comedy - runtime: 1h 35m/ 95mins

John Wick (15)
After the death of his wife, an ex assassin comes out of retirement to complete one last job.
Dir: Chad Stahelski, David Leitch
Starring: Keanu Reeves, Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen, Willem Defoe, Bridget Moynahan
Action | Thriller - runtime: 1h 41m/ 101mins
What I say: I have seen this already. It is fun, violent and there is some tremendous fight choreography. Keanu is... actually, that is it, Keanu is...
I would recommend it if you wanted something that you didn't want to think about.
Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (15)
Fire up the hot tub, the sequel to the 2010 comedy is here. After one of the gang is assassinated, due to their misuse of the time machine, Nick and Jacob must travel to the past to clear up the chaos they have caused.
Dir: Steve Pink
Starring: Thomas Lennon, Adam Scott, Chevy Chase, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, Rob Corddry
Adventure | Drama | Family - runtime 93mins/ 1h 33m
What I say: I thought the first was okay, fun, just nothing that made me laugh out loud and double up in hysterics. The reason for a sequel is one that escapes me. Apart from the obvious.

Child 44 (15)
Set in Russia during Stalin's rule, Agent Leo Demidov (Hardy) uncovers the strange and brutal murders of young children.
Dir: Daniel Espinosa
Starring: TomHardy, Gary Oldman, Noomi Rapace, Vincent Cassel, Jason Clarke, Paddy Consadine
Crime | Drama | Thriller - runtime tbc
What I say: Look at that cast. every name there is a heavyweight. My only gripe is that it would probably be better in its native tongue. Can't have everything though.
The Salvation (15)
A peaceful American settler kills his family's murderer which unleashes the fury of a notorious gang leader. His cowardly fellow townspeople then betray him, forcing him to hunt down the outlaws alone.
Dir: Kristian Levring
Starring: TomHardy, Mads Mikkelsen, Eva Green, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jonathon Pryce
Western | Drama - runtime 92mins/ 1h 32m
What I say: A film so dull it didn't even look as though Mikkelsen or Green wanted to be there. I just found it a chore to sit through. Westerns have had their day and this was proof of that.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (tbc)
Portly idiot, sorry, Kevin James plays the titular character again in a sequel that sees him travel to Vegas with his daughter for a convention, but unwittingly he stumbles upon a heist. Can he foil the crime and bring the criminals to justice?
Dir: Andy Fickman
Starring: Kevin James, Raini Rodriguez, Neal McDonaugh
Action | Crime | Thriller - runtime: (tbc)
What I say: Kevin bloody James. Has anyone got his number so I can phone himand tell him to stop making films.

Avengers: The Age of Ultron (tbc) **BIG FILM**
The Avengers re-Assemble to fight off the might of Ultron. A killer robot with a grudge against Tony.
Dir: Joss Whedon
Starring: Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlet Johnasson, Mark Ruffalo and James Spader as the voice of Ultron
Action | Adventure | Fantasy - runtime: (tbc)
What I say: I am in the minority with my dislike of the first Avengers film. There is no real substance to it. It looks pretty and has lots going on. I just found it to be messy and a tad tedious. Hopefully Ultron will turn that around and produce something totally different from the first. As fun as the trailer is, I can't see it happening.

Lost River (15)
A single mother is swept into a dark underworld, while her teenage son discovers a road that leads him to a secret underwater town.
Dir: Ryan Gosling
Starring: Saoirse Ronan, Christina Hendricks, Eva Mendes, Matt Smith, Ben Mendelsohn, Ian De Caestecker
Action | Adventure | Fantasy | Thriller - runtime: 95mins/ 1h 35m
What I say: Look at that cast. WOW! Goslings directorial debut will either sink or swim. So far it is getting fairly good reviews.
Stonehearst Asylum (15) "Eliza Graves" - original title
A recent medical school grad who takes a position at a mental institution soon finds himself taken with one of his colleagues -- though he has no initial idea of a recent, horrifying staffing change.
Dir: Brad Anderson
Starring: Kate Beckinsale, Jim Sturgees, Sir Ben Kingsley, Sir Michael Caine
Action | Adventure | Fantasy | Thriller - runtime: 112mins/ 1h 52m
What I say: Sadly a great cast couldn't save this film from becoming a borefest. It has potential but it never seems to engage with the audience.
