Monsters: Dark Continent (15)
Sequel to the low-budget hit where the monsters have invaded the Middle-East. The Army battle the creatures in effort to wipe them out and save humanity.
Dir: Tom Green
Starring: Johnny Harris, Sam Keeley, Joe Dempsey
Darma | Sci-Fi | Thriller - runtime 119mins/ 1h 59m
What I say: The first film was a great sleeper hit. It came from nowhere and with a fraction of the budget that most films of its magnitude had. Also, directed by Gareth Edwards (who is a relative of a friend of mine).
Unfriended (15)
Following the death of a friend, a group of friends who chat online find themselves being haunted by supernatural forces.
Dir: Levan Gabriadze
Starring: Courtney Halveson, Shelley Hennig,Cal Barnes, Renee Olstead, Matthew Bohrer.
Horror | Thriller - runtime 82mins/ 1h 22m
What I say: The trailer looked like a lot of fun. I love the horror genre but I prefer the European and Asian market as I find most American horror sticks to all the clichés. This might buck the trend but I doubt it. Should be good for one viewing.
Far From the Madding Crowd (12A)
In Victorian England, the independent and headstrong Bathsheba Everdene attracts three very different suitors: Gabriel Oak, a sheep farmer; Frank Troy, a reckless Sergeant; and William Boldwood, a prosperous and mature bachelor.
Dir: Thomas Vinterberg
Starring: Carey Mulligan, Tom Sturridge, Matthias Schoenaerts
Drama |- runtime: 119mins/ 1hr 59m
What I say: I'm not big on period dramas so I will give this one a miss myself, but with a wealth of talent, the classic novel by Thomas Hardy should be well done.
All That Remains (tbc)
The true story of Dr. Takashi Nagai, survivor of the atomic bomb the struck Nagasaki in 1945 and the efforts to heal his country after the decimation by the war.
Dir:Domonic Higgins, Ian Higgins
Starring: Leo Ashizawa, Yuna Shin, Meg Kubota
Biography | Drama | History - runtime: tbc
What I say: The only trailer I could find was a teaser. The effects of the blast looked poor and there wasn't much to offer by way of what the film looked like. This will undoubtedly not be opening in the cinemas but I felt it was important to have on the list.

Big Game (tbc)
After getting shot out of the sky, an unwitting teenager must fight to save the Presidents life.
Dir: Jalmari Helander
Starring: Samuel L. Jackson, Ray Stevenson, Felicity Huffman, Jim Broadbent
Action | Adventure - runtime: 1h 50m/ 110mins
What I say: The trailer was released a couple of months back and it looks awful. The director made one of the greatest alternative Christmas movies (Rare Exports) but this looks like he is just trying to satisfy an American audience.
Spooks: The Greater Good (tbc)
Big screen outing for the BBC spy series.
Dir: Bharat Nalluri
Starring: Kit Harrington, Jennifer Ehle, Elyes Gabel, Lara Pulver, Tuppence Middleton
Action | Drama | Thriller - runtime: TBC
What I say: The teaser trailer released doesn't do much for me and I didn't watch any of the series.
The Age of Adaline (tbc)
A young woman, born at the turn of 20th century, is rendered ageless after an accident. After years of a solitary life, she meets a man who might be worth losing her immortality for.
Dir: Lee Toland Krieger
Starring: Blake Lively, Harrison Ford, Michiel Huisman, Amanda Crew, Ellen Burstyn
Romance | Drama - runtime: 110mins/ 1hr 50m
What I say: The premise is interesting and if you are a sucker for a ramantic movie then this is probably one to go for.

Pitch Perfect 2 (12A)
The Barden Bellas enter an International Singing Contest that has never been won by the United States.
Dir: Elizabeth Banks
Starring: Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, Elizabeth Banks, Brittany Snow
Comedy | Musical - runtime: (tbc)
What I say: Again, I am sure you can all imagine that this is not one for me. The first has its fans and I am sure they will be out in abundance for this one.
Mad Max: Fury Road (tbc) **BIG FILM**
30 years since we last saw Max, George Miller finally brings us a new instalment of The Road Warrior. Gibson is gone (not even a cameo role) and Tom Hardy is in. Judging by the second trailer, we are definitely in for a rough ride. Apocalyptic mayhem and carnage.
Dir: George Miller
Starring: Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult
Action | Adventure | Thriller - runtime: (tbc)
What I say: HUGE excitement for this movie. The early footage looks incredible and the physical as apposed to CGI effects look outstanding. Can it live up to the hype?
Clouds of Sils Maria (15)
A veteran actress comes face-to-face with an uncomfortable reflection of herself when she agrees to take part in a revival of the play that launched her career 20 years earlier.
Dir: Olivier Assayas
Starring: Juliette Binoche, Kristen Stewart, Chole Grace Moretz
Drama - runtime: 124mins/ 2hr 04m
What I say: Stewart is now carving out a better career after her roles in the Twilight Saga. Check here out in this and Welcome to the Rilies and Camp X-Ray. Binoche is suited to these roles and I am sure she will not prove me wrong.

Tomorrowland (tbc)

Dir: Brad Bird
Starring: George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Hugh Laurie, Darren Shahlavi, Judy Greer
Mystery | Sci-Fi - runtime: (tbc)
What I say: Brad Bird has a terrific imagination and a great eye for the spectacular. Hopefully this will be another to add to his successful batch of films.
Poltergeist (tbc)
Remake of the classic 1982 film written by Steven Spielberg of a house possessed by demons.
Dir: Gil Kenan
Starring: Sam Rockwell, Rosemary DeWitt, Jared Harris
Horror | Thriller - runtime: (tbc)
What I say: OK, I am on the fence with this one. The second trailer looked pretty good and might keep the vibe and look of the original. That being said, do we need a remake? Sam Rockwell and Jared Harris are great on-screen but classification and the directors lack of experience might let it down.

What I say: I don't know anything about this but it sounds fabulous.
